Welcome to Sexsmith Tumbling Club (“STC”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the STC website, online registration pages, and participation in STC-hosted events, including but not limited to the Twist & Tumble Fun Meet.

By accessing our website or submitting a registration, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or register for events.

The STC website and registration platforms are provided for informational purposes and for the administration of club operations and events. All registrations are subject to eligibility requirements and approval by STC.

2. Eligibility and Registration

• Athletes must be registered members of a recognized gymnastics club.

• Athletes must be part of their club’s competitive program, as defined by STC for the applicable event.

• Clubs are responsible for registering athletes and ensuring all information submitted is accurate and complete.

• Individual athlete or parent registrations are not accepted unless explicitly stated.

• STC reserves the right to verify eligibility and refuse or revoke registrations that do not meet requirements.

3. Fees and Payments

• Registration fees are set per event and published on the registration page.

• All fees are due by the stated deadline.

• Unless otherwise specified, registration fees are non-refundable, including in cases of athlete withdrawal, illness, or scheduling conflicts.

• STC reserves the right to cancel or modify events due to circumstances beyond its control.

4. Event Changes and Cancellations

STC reserves the right to:

• Adjust schedules, sessions, or formats

• Limit participation due to capacity or safety considerations

• Cancel events if necessary

In the event of cancellation by STC, refund decisions will be communicated to registered clubs.

5. Assumption of Risk and Waivers

Gymnastics and tumbling involve inherent risks. Participation in STC events is conditional upon acknowledgment of these risks.

• Athletes must have a valid waiver on file as required by STC.

• Clubs are responsible for ensuring appropriate consent has been obtained from parents or guardians for minor athletes.

• Participation is at the athlete’s own risk.

6. Code of Conduct

All participants, coaches, clubs, and spectators are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.

STC reserves the right to:

• Remove any individual whose conduct is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate

• Refuse future participation for violations of conduct expectations

7. Intellectual Property and Media

• All website content, logos, branding, and event materials are the property of STC unless otherwise stated.

• STC may capture photographs or video during events for promotional or archival purposes.

• By participating in STC events, clubs grant STC permission to use such media unless written notice is provided in advance.

8. Uploaded Content and Documents

Any documents or files submitted through registration platforms:

• Are used solely for event administration

• Remain accessible only to authorized STC administrators

• May be retained for record-keeping purposes

STC is not responsible for files once submitted and does not guarantee ongoing access for registrants.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STC is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from:

• Participation in events

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alberta.
